In the name of God amen. I Thomas Daniel of the County of Terrill in province of North Carolina planter being of a weak and low condition of body but of a sound mind and memory praised be allmity God but calling to mind the uncertainty of this life and knowing that is is appointed for all men once to die do make ordain constitute and apointe this to be my Last Will and Testament that is to say my Soul I bequeath to God that gave it to me My body I commit to the Earth from whence it was take to be interred in a Cristian like manner and now touching my worldly goods I do ordain that first that all my just debts and my funeral charges be fully paid discharged and satisfied the rest remainder and residue of my Estate and worldly goods chatels lands tenements house hold goods cattel horses mares and all other good and chattels to me in any wise belonging or appertaining I do give to my beloved wife Elisabeth clear from any incum brances whatsoever.

Item - To my son Robert Lanier Daniel I do give one shilling sterling money and no more

Item - To my daughter Sarah Willson I do give one shiling sterling money and no more.

Item - To my son Thomas Daniel I do give one shiling sterling money and no more.

Item - To my daughter Elisabeth Daniel I do give one shiling sterling money and no more.

Item - To my daughter Mary Daniel I do give one shiling sterling money and no more.

Item - To my son John Daniel I do give one shiling sterling money and no more.

Item - To my son William Daniel I do give one shiling sterling money and no more.

Item - To my son Aron Daniel I do give one shiling sterling money and no more.

Item - To my daugher Ruth Daniel I do give one shiling sterling money and no more.

Item - To my daughter Prisilia Daniel I do give one shiling sterling and no more.

Item - To my son Josiah Daniel I do give one shiling sterling money and no more. I do nominate chuse and apoint my beloved wife Elisabeth to be Executrix and my beloved son John Daniel to be Executor of this my Last Will and Testament and I further desire that there may be no misinterpretations or wrong constructions put on this my Last Will and Testament but that it may be understod in manner and form as is intended Sined Sealed published and declared this Eleventh day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty nine in the presence of us.

Present his majesty's Justices

The Last Will and Testament of Thomas Daniel Deseased was Exhibited in Open Court & Proved on the Oath of William Willis Subsribing Evidence thereto and on Motion of Mrs. Eliz Daniel who Qualified as Executrix to said Will Praying Letters of Administration ordered that the Secretary have notice Thereof that letters may issue Accordingly.
