March Session 1757

The petition of John Dillin humbly praying that Richard Devenport may be apointed guardin to him the sd. John Dillin, ordered that said Richd. Devenport is apointed guardin and to returne an account to next court of the sd. estate.

June Session 1757

The petition of Mary Delon relict of John Delon praying administration on the said deceased estate read as aforsd. Granted and enters Stephen Hooker & Jeremiah Wynne in the sum of sixty pounds Proclamation money seurities.

On motion of J. Charlton praying an order that John Delon the son of John Dilon, an infant of the adge of thurteen years or there abouts be bound out an apprintice to Peter Harris, a blacksmith in order to learne the trade of a black smith & to read & wright untill he shall attane the adge of twenty one years, he the said Peter Harris finding and providing for the sd. apprentice such accomodations & nessacarys as the law directs.

Mary Delon exhibete an inventory of the estate of her late husband John Delon deceased proved on her oath before John Hooker Esqr. in due form of law.

On motion of Mary Dilion praying a devision of John Dilion deceased estate among his children according to law, ordered by the court, granted agreeable to the prayer of the motion, Steven Hooker, John Hooker and Samuel Spruel Senr. divide the same.

March Session 1758

John Hooker Esqr. exhibeted a devision of the estate of John Delon deceased among the widow and children & c. Ordred to be filed.

Guardian bond dated 3 Mar 1757 in the amount of two hundred pounds in which Richard Davenport is appointed guardian to John Dillin orphan, Alexander McCib & Godfree Spruill securities.
