In the name of God amen: I Thomas Comes of Tyrrel County Planter being very sick and week in body but of perfect mind and memory thank be to God for it I do make and declare these presents to be and contain my last Will and Testament hereby revoaking all former or other Wills and Testaments by me heretofore made and declared

Imp' - My will and desire is that my well beloved wife Mary Comes shall have the use of my plantation and the land thereunto belonging so long as she shall remain a widdow and likewise one third part of my personall Estate unto her own disposal and allso the two other thirds so long as she shall remain a widdow but if my wife Mary shall remain a widdow so long my sons William Thomas and Jeremiah Comes or either of them shall come to the age of twenty one years then they to have possession of my lands as I shall hereafter mention--

Item - I give and bequeath to my son William Comes Thomas Comes Jeremiah Comes and John Comes all my lands to be equally divided between them --

Item - My Will and desire is that my two daughters Elizabeth Comes and Judath Comes shall have two thirds of my personal Estate to be equally divided between them --

Lastly - I hereby constitute and appoint my well beloved wife Mary Comes Exctrx & James Blount Executor of this my last Will and Testament and I testimony thereof I have hereto put my hand and seal this 20th. Day January 1753.
