In the name of God amen, the thirtyfirst Day of October 1749 I Winnifitt Combs of Tyrrill County Widow being very sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto God: therefore calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to dye do make and ordain this my Last will and testament, that is to say principally and first of all I give and recommend my Soul into the Hands of God that give it amy my body I recommend to the Earth to be buried in a decent Christian burial at the discression of my Executor nothing doubting but at the General Ressurrection I shall receive the smae again by the mighty power of God: and as touching such Worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me with in this life I give demise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form..

Imprimis - I give and bequeath to my well beloved sons Robert Combs and Samuell Combs the plantation and land that I bought of William to be equally divided betwixt them Robert having the lower end. Likewise I give and bequeath to my son Robert Combs the bed and furniture that I now ly on and two(?) Puter basons and the three puter plates

Item - I give and bequeath to my son Samuell Combs one feather bed and furniture one puter dish.

Item - I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Combs one midle size pot one chest three puter plates and all my wearing apparrell after my decease.

Item - I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elisebeth Brady one shilling sterling.

Item - I give and bequeath unto my daughter Ann Wren one shilling sterling.

Item - I give and bequeath unto my grandson James Combs one three year old heafer.

Item - I give and bequeath unto my three children Robert Combs Samuel Combs and Mary Combs all my cattle hogs and sheep and all the rest of my housshold goods and Chattles where ever to be found to be equally divided amongst them after my decease and likewise I constitute make and ordain my son Robert Combs my sole execetor of this my last Will and testament and I do hereby utterly disallow revoke and disanull all and every other former testaments wills Legacies and bequests and executors by me in any ways before named willed and bequeathed Ratifing and Confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament in writing where of I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written.

This within will being proved __ June sd. County Court and Robert Combs appearing this court and qualified as Executor to said will praying an order for letters Testamentary granted and ordered that the Honorable Nathaniel Rice Esq Secretary have notice thereof that Letters may issue accordingly dated at the clerks office this sixth day of September 1750.
