Cullipher, Elizabeth, 1825

Bond dated 25 Jan 1825 in the amount of three hundred dollars appointing Richard Lucas administrator of the estate of Elizabeth Cullipher deceased, William Spruill & Francis Wood securities.

Documents relating to a suit against Elizabeth Cullipher for debt owed the estate of Benjamin Spruill that ended in a levy against her 50 acres of land adjoining the lands of Hezekiah Harris, Samuel Rogers & D. M. Sergent on 13 Jan 1827, no goods or chattels to be found.

Transcriber's Notes:
See the court minutes and estate papers of Henry Cullipher in 1806. Henry was married to Ann Lucas and they had a daughter Elizabeth. Since Richard Lucas was the administrator of the estate of Elizabeth Cullipher and since Isaac Cullipher, son of Henry Cullipher, was bound an apprentice to Richard Lucas, it is likely that the Ann Lucas was closely related to Richard Lucas.
