March Session 1740

Ordred that Anthoney Allexander Senr. be summonsed to appear at the next court to render an acct. of the estate of Robert Cohoon deceased.

June Session 1740

Its ordered that Anthoney Allexander be appointed guardian to the orphans of Robt. Cohoon deceased and that he take the said estate into his hands wherever to be found in this county first giving security in the sum of two hundred pound.

Ordered that John Worley Senr. be summonsed to the next court to show cause why he does not deliver up the deed of gift belonging to the orphans of Robt. Cahoon deceased.

September Session 1740

A deed of gift from Margrate Calhoon to her children James, William and Robert Calhoon was duely proved in open court by the oath of Joshua Worley one of the subscibing evidences ordered to be registered, it is also ordered that Anthoney Alexander Senr. have liberty to sell so much of the estate belonging to the said orphins sufficient to pay the court charges for recording and registering the said deed.
