August Session 1778

Personally appeared Marry Long in open court and prayed administration on the estate of Bill Butcher deceased granted and the sd. Mary Long quallified agreeable to act of assembly and gave in security William Blount and Thomas Stubbs Junr. in a bond of 1500 pounds. Order that Mr. Secretary have notice that letters issue.

Mary Long appeared in open court exhibited an inventory on oath of the estate of Bill Butcher.

Ordered that Mary Long sell so much of the perishable part of the estate of Bill Butcher as shall pay his debts and make returns to next court.

February Session 1779

Edmd. Blount Sheriff exhibits the acct. sales of the estate of Bill Butcher deceased on oath in open court ordered to be filed.

Ordered that Mary Hammon admtrix of Bill Butcher estate advertise for all creditors to appear with their accts. properly attested and setled.

Ordered that Stephens Lee Robt. Davidson Fryley Jones divide the estate of Bill Butcher deceased among the heirs and make returns to next court.
