June Session 1754

William Hassell exhibeted a petition praying an order to be appointed guardin to William Best and James Best orphans of Thomas Best late of this county deceased and he is appointed guardian to the orphan of Cornealus Best deceased, Tobithee Best, and the said Hassell enters William Gennet and Jacob Blount Senr. securitys in the sum of one hundred pounds Procl. money.

December Session 1754

An inventory of the estate of Cornealus Best deceased was exhibeted into open court and proved by the oath of Henry Hartley.

Henry Hartley exhibet a petition praying administration on the estate of Corneales Best late of this county deceased granted and ordered that he give security in the sum of one hundred pounds Proclamation money which he accordingly doth and enters Cornealas Fitzpatrick and William Barns in the sum aforesaid which is approved by the court. Ordered that he sell the perishable art of the said deceased estate and make return on oath to the next court.

March Session 1755

An account of sales of the estate of Cornealas Best deceased, was proved in open court by the oath of Joshua Alexander.
