Summons issued 1 Dec 1811 to the Sheriff of Currituck County for Elizabeth Best executrix of William Best sailor to appear in Superior Court of Tyrrell County on the sixth Monday after the fourth Monday in March next to answer unto Isaac Davenport and Elizabeth his wife of a plea of trespass to their damage of one hundred pounds.

Summons dated the sixth Monday after 4 Mar 1812 and issued 17 Sep 1812 for Selathiel Spruill to appear at Superior Court on the sixth Monday after the fourth Monday in September next and testify on behalf of Isaac Davenport & wife in a case in which Isaac Davenport & wife are plaintiffs and William Best's executrix is defendant.

Summons dated 4 May 1812 and issued 17 Sep 1812 to the Sheriff of Currituck County for Thomas Tillett to appear at Superior Court on the sixth Monday after the fourth Monday in September next and testify on behalf of Isaac Davenport & wife in a case in which Isaac Davenport & wife are plaintiffs and William Best's executrix is defendant.

Summons dated the sixth Monday after the fourth Monday in March 1813 for Silas Etheridge to immediately appear at the Superior Court and testify on behalf of Isaac Davenport in a case in which Isaac Davenport is plaintiff and William Best's executrix is defendant.

Summons dated the sixth Monday after the fourth Monday in September 1813 for Joseph Snell to immediately appear at the Superior Court and testify on behalf of Isaac Davenport in a case in which Isaac Davenport is plaintiff and William Best's executrix is defendant.

Summons dated the sixth Monday after the fourth Monday in March 1814 for Stephen W. Beasley to immediately appear at the Superior Court and testify on behalf of William Best's executrix in a case in which Isaac Davenport & wife are plaintiffs and William Best's executrix is defendant.

Summons dated the sixth Monday after the fourth Monday in March 1814 for William Etheridge to immediately appear at the Superior Court and testify on behalf of William Best's executrix in a case in which Isaac Davenport is plaintiff and William Best's executrix is defendant.

Receipt dated 9 May 1814 by Thomas Johnson acknowledging payment by Ann Best of his fees in a suit between her and Isaac Davenport.

Execution issued 24 May 1814 against the goods & chattels lands & tenements of Isaac Davenport for 8 pounds, 10 shilings & 3 pence which William Best's executrix recovered against him in Superior Court for costs and charges of a suit.
