Tyrrell County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions


July Session 1820

Administration on the estate of Asa Brooks was committed to Jeremiah Wynne who entered into bond with approved security & quallified agreeable to law ordered that letters of administration issue thereon & that he proceed to sell the perishable estate of said deceased and account for the same as the law directs.

October Session 1820

James Wood returned in open court an inventory of debts due the estate of Asa Brooks deceased to amount of $578.95/100 which inventory was proved by the oath of Jeremiah Wynne the administrator & filed.

July Session 1824

Ordered that Joseph Hallsy, B. W. Hallsy and Selby Wynne be appointed to audite and settle the estate of Asa Brooks deceased and make report to the next term.

October Session 1824

Jeremiah Wynne the administrator of Asa Brooks deceased returned in open court the audited accounts of said estate.
