Tyrrell County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions
July Session 1787
On motion of John Hamilton Esqr. producing an order of court from Chowan directed to the Surveyor of this county in respect of the dower of Mrs. Cooley widow of the late Charles Bondfield deceased - Ordered that Hezekiah Spruill Esqr. Surveyor of this county do admeasure and lay off by survey the one third part of the lands of the said Charles Bondfield deceased as recovered by a judgement of the county court of Chowan and layed off by a jury of this county.
