June Session 1739

On motion made to this court by Ann Buncomb widdow of Joseph Buncomb & Admx. praying an order of this court to expose to sale at publick vandue such part of the unperishable part of the estate of the said Joseph Buncomb as will sattisfie and pay all the just debts and that James Turnbull Gent. may be appointed vandue master. The court haveing fully considered the same, grants that an order issue accordingly and that Mr. Jams. Turnbull is appointed to be vandue master and to make return of the account of sales upon oath to the next court.

December Session 1739

Account of sales of the estate of Jos. Buncomb returned and filed and proved by the oath of Jams. Turnbull Esqr. who was appointed by this court to sell the same.

Account of sales of part of the estate of Joseph Buncam 15 Mar 1744/45 by Thos. Bateman. Purchasers were James Jones & Jacob Blount.

Bond dated 4 Dec 1745 in the amount of two hundred pounds appointing James Turnbull Esqr. guardian of Mrs. Mary Buncombe orphan of Capt. Joseph Buncombe deceased, James Blunt & Joseph Spruill Esqr. securities.
