February Session 1777 {There is a 1/2 year gap in minutes prior to this session}

Personally appeared Mr. John Ballard and read the petition craving administration on the estate of Joseph Ballard deceased the petition granted and taken the oath perscribed by law and entered in bond with Isham Webb & Jasper Hardison in the sum of two thousand pounds.

Ordered that John Ballard have leave to sell as much of the estate of Joseph Ballard deceased as will pay the debts according to law or as the law directs.

May Session 1777

Edmund Blount Sheriff exhibited an account of sales of Joseph Ballard deceased received and ordered to be filed.

October Session 1779

Returned into open court by Silis Ballard on oath the inventory of Joseph Ballard deceased ordered to be filed.
