September Session 1760

Read the petition of Charles Blount praying administration on the estate of James Blount Esqr. deceased & c. Granted and ordered that the same be certifyed to the Secretary of the Province that letters of administration issue accordingly and enters for securitys Jacob Blount and Steven Lee in the sum of three thousand pounds starling.

Personally appeared Charles Blount and qualifyed administrator by taking the oath by law prescribed for qualify of administrators.

On motion of Mr. Charles Blount to sell the perishable part of the estate of James Blount deceased as by law appointed. Ordered granted.

March Session 1761

Personally appeared John Hooker Esqr. and exhibited an account of sails of the pershiable estate of James Blount Esqr. and proved the same on his oath.

November Session 1770

Read the petition of James Blount praying a division of the negros of James Blount Esquire deceased &c ordered that Stevens Lee Esqr. John McKildo Esqr. Francis Ward & Benjamin Blount or any three of them divide the same & make return to the next court.

May Session 1771

Personalble appeared Ann Blount and the court appoint Mr. Robt. Lenox guardain of her person and estate of the sd. Ann Blount orphan of James Blount Esq. deceased; Stevens Lee and Benja. Blount securities in the sum of 800 pounds who are approved of by the court.

On motion of Mr. William Cuming atty. for a division of the estate of James Blount Esqr. deceased Benjamin Blount Collo. Edward Buncombe Stevens Lee John McKildo Esquires or any three of the foresd. gentm. and make return to our next court.
