Ordered that Charles McClees administer on the estate of Isaac Belangy with Hz. G. Spruill & Saml. C. Patrick {security}.

January Session 1834

Charles McClees guardian {administrator} of Isaac Belang returned in open court account of sales of said estate & account sale of Spence Armstrong ? & the ? years allow.

Bond dated 23 July 1833 in the amount of one thousand dollars in which Charles McClees is appointed administrator of the estate of Isaac Belangy deceased, George H. Alexander, Jos. Alexander & Saml. C. Patrick securities.

Laying off of the year's allowance of the widow Belangy in the estate of her deceased husband on 3 August 1833 by Dempsey Liverman, Eliakem Swain & Saml. C. Patrick. Her having no provisions on hand the estate was charged $125 for provisions and also one bed, one wheel and two cards.

Petition October Term 1833 by Mary Belangy stating that her husband died intestate on 7 August 1833 leaving her totally unprovided for. At death he was seized and possessed of two parcels of land, one containing about twenty acres bounded by the lands of Dempsey Liverman & Asa Vendrix upon which he lived and also a parcel of Juniper Swamp containing about fifty acres. Petitioner requests her dower in these lands be layed off.

Laying off of the dower of Mary Belangy in the lands of her deceased husband, Isaac Belangy, on 20 January 1834 by the Deputy Sheriff, Saml. C. Patrick and twelve disinterested freeholders, namely Frederick R. Patrick, Jechonias Neel, Joseph White, James Davenport, Dempsy Liverman, Tompson Liverman, John D. Liverman, Frederick Allcock, William C. Liverman, Adin Meekins, John Patrick & William Patrick. She received 7 acres of the plantation of 21 acres, including the dwelling house.

There are a number of documents dealing with recovery of debts from the estate of Isaac Belangy. There being no goods and chattels, the land of Isaac Belangy on the main road and his juniper swamp up Whipping Creek were levied to satisly the debts in July 1834.
