In the name of God amen, I Elizabeth Bell of Tyrrel County Widow, calling to mind ye uncertainty of this martal life, do make & ordain this to be my last Will & Testament, hereby Revokeing, disanuling, & makeing void all former Wills & Testaments by me hereto fore made.

Imprimis - I give & Bequeath my Soul unto almity God who give it, and my body to be decently buried at ye discretion of my Executors hereafter named; and ass to what worldly Estate it hath pleased God to bless me with, I give, devise & dispose of as followeth.

Item - I give & bequeath unto my sister Margaret's daughter who lives in London in South Brittain, or in case of her death to her children my weding ring & necklace; & also five hundred pounds currt. bills ye I have in ye hands of my brother in laws James Turnball Esquire.

Item - I give unto Capt. William Mackey my deceased husband's nephew all ye residue of my Estate both real & personal to him and his heirs forever

Lastly - I nominate & appoint Cullen Pollock Esqr & ye above William Mackey Executors of this my last Will to see ye same duely executed & performed: In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this 16 Day of June anno Domini 1750.

March Session 1752

The petition of Phillip and Mary Pantry red. On hearing the above patition of Phillip Pantry and Mary his wife and the answer thereto of William Mackey executor of the last will and testament of Elizabeth Bell decd. it apears to the court that the nicklass and ring mentioned in the petition was bequeathd by the testatrix to the said Mary Pantry when she was sole by the name of Mary Ward as is set forth in the said petition, and that the said executor hath not yet paid the same to the said Mary Pantry while she was sole nor to the said Phillip and Mary since the marriage between them celebrated. The court therefore do adjudge and decree that the said Wm. Mackey do pay and deliver to the said Philip and Mary Pantry the said gold neckolus and gold ring.

July Session 1752

On hearing the petition of Phillip Pantry and Mary his wife exhibeted into this court by Col. James Turnbull their attorney and the answer of William Mackey executor of the last will and testament of Elizabeth Bell late of this county decd. it appears to the court that the necklace and ring mentione in the said petition and in the said will was bequeathed by the testatx. to the said Mary Pantry while she was sole by the name of Mary Ward as is set forth in the said petition and that the said executor hath not yet paid the sum to the said Mary Pantry while she was sole/ nor to the said Phillip and Mary since the marrage betwen the celebrated. The court therefore do adjudg and decree that the sd. William Mackey do pay and deliver to the sd. Phillip and Mary Pantry the sd. necklace and ring by the sd. will bequeathed.

March Session 1753

On motion of Col. Jams. Turnbull praying an order of this court for William Mackey execr. of the last will and testament of Elizabeth Bell decesd. deliver to the said James one gold cross and three gold bead. Contd. till next Ct.

June Session 1753

On motion of Colonel James Turnbull praying an order of this court for William Mackey exeutor of the last will and testament of Elizabeth Bell deceased to deliver to him one gold cross and three gold beads, the court ordered the said motion to be contd. till next court & the court orders that as it is their opinion the said cross is part of the necklass that belonged to Eliz. Bell dcd. and that Mr. Mackey deliver the same.
