In the name of God amen. August the 29 day 175?. I Soloman Ansley being sick and weak in body ... but of perfect mind and memory. .... of in the following manner dispose of my worldy possessions.

Item - I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Ansley the femeal Catle that is in ...... them and their increase.

Item - I give and bequeath to my daughter Sarah Ansley all the femeal Catle that is in her mark them and their increase.

Item - I give to my daughter Elizabeth Ansley all the catle that is in her mark and ...........

Item - I give and bequeath to my daughter Ann Ansley all the femeal catle that is in her mark after she comes to the age of sixteen.

Item - I give and bequeath to my son Johnan my manner plantation with the land joyning to the same as ... as Popelor Branch and so a ...... to him and his heirs lawfuly begoten of his body for ever and if the femeal catle that in his mark and the .... after he comes to the age of sixteen and if he dyes without heirs to the next .. heir in law.

Item - I give and bequeath to my son Joseph Ansley the upper part of my land from the poplar branch to the petaten .....to him and his heirs lawfuly begoten of his body forever and if he dies without heirs or issue to the next heir in law and all the femeal Catle that in his mark and the mals....after he comes to the age of sixteen.

Item - I give and bequeath to my .... Rachel Ansley .....................

Item - I give and bequeath to my daughter Easter Ansley ...................... also the rest of my estate.

I give to my beloved wife Sarah Ansley .........................

I have transcribed as much of this will as I was able. I believe I have correctly transcribed all of the children's names and the wife's name, but I was unable to make out the executors and all of the witnesses. I would appreciate any input from some one who might have a better copy of this will.

Sarah Phillips exhibited an inventory of part of the estate of Sollomon Ansly and roved the same on oath.
