I, Anthony Alexander of the aforesaid County and State, being of sound mind but considering the uncertainty of my earthly existence do make and declare this my last Will and Testament.

Item - My executor hereinafter named shall give my body a decent burial suitable to the wishes of my friends and relatives and pay all funeral expenses togeather with all my just debts out of the first moneys which may come into his hands belonging to my estate.

Item - I give and devise to my beloved wife Virginia Alexander during her lifetime all of my real estate and personal property to be used by her for her support during the length of her lifetime.

Item - After the death of my wife, I give and bequeath to my wife's son Lincoln Haulsey all of my real estate and personal property except one acre of land more or less on the east side of my tract of land being the same purchased from W. E. Liverman and wife, provided that the said Lincoln Haulsey shall pay to Lizzy Butts seventy five dollars, Emma McClees seventy five dollars, Marie Grizel's three children Herman Grizel sixteen and 66/100 dollars, Alice Grizel sixteen and 66/100 dollars, Hinton Grizel 66 and 68/100 dollars and George Haulsey my wife's son twenty five dollars.

Lincoln Haulsey is to pay all of the above mentioned heirs their money within one year from the date of my death.

Item - I give and devise to Hattie Grizel a tract of land lying to the eastward of my home where I now live, being a tract of land I purchased from W. E. Liverman and wife, the same containing one acre more or less.

Item - I hereby constitute and appoint F. N. Brickhouse my lawful executor to all intents and purposes to execute this my last Will and Testament.

In witness whereof I the said Anthony Alexander do hereunto set my hand and seal this 25th day of September 1917.

Signed, sealed, published and declared by the said Anthony Alexander to be his last Will and Testament in the presense of us who at his request and in his presence do subscribe our names as witnesses thereunto.

A paperwriting purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Anthony Alexander, deceased, is exhibited for probate in open Court by F. N. Brickhouse the executor therein named. It is thereupon proved by the oath and examination of S. N. Alexander and S. H. Mizzell, the subscribibg witnessess thereto, who being duly sworn do depose and say and each for himself deposeth and saith that he is a subscribing witness to the paper writing now shown him purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Anthony Alexander; that the said testator in the presence of this deponent subscribed his name at the end of said paper writing which is now shown bearing the date of 25th day of September, 1917.

This deponent further saith that the said Anthony Alexander the testator aforesaid, did at the time of subscribing his name declare the said paper writing to be his last Will and Testament and this deponent did thereupon subscribe his name as a attesting witness thereto at the request and in the presence of said testator.This deponent further saith that at the same time when the said testator subscribed his name and at the time the deponent subscribed his name as a attesting witness thereto the said Anthony Alexander was of sound mind and memory, of full age to execute a Will and was not under any restraint to the knowledge, information or belief of this deponent: And further these deponents say not.

It is therefore considered and adjudged by the Court that the said paper writing and every part thereof is the last Will and Testament of the said Anthony Alexander deceased. Let the said Will, togeather with the probate be recorded and filed.
