In the name of God Amen this 13th Day of July 1794 I Zilpah Alexander of the County of Tyrrell being very sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory Thanks be given to Almighty God. Therefore calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all flesh --?-- to die do Make and ordain this my Last will and Testament. That is to say finally and first of all. I give and remand my Soul into the hands of God that gave it and my body I remand to the Earth to be buried in descent Christian burial at the discretion of my Executors Nothing doubting but at general Resurrection I shall Revive the same again by the mighty power of God and as touching such Worldly Estate wherewith it has pleased God to help me in this life, I give divide and dispose in the following manner and form.

Item I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter Mary Alexander Two head of cattle and twenty shillings in money _ _ _ _ _

Item I give to my ---?---- daughter Elizabeth Davenport one shilling

Item I give to my son John Alexander two head of cattle and twenty shillings in money

Item I give to my son Abner Alexander two head of cattle and twenty shillings in money

Item I give to daughter Ann Alexander twenty pounds in money __ _ _ __

Item I give Sara Alexander two head of cattle and twenty shillings in money _ _ _ _

Item I give to Jamira Alexander twenty pounds in money _ _ _ _

Item I give to my daughter Zilpah Phelps Ten pounds in money

Item I give to Millca Alexander twenty pounds in money _ _ _ _

Item I give to my son Jesse Alexander half of Destill now on his own plantation with one yoak of oxen one colt and one mans saddle

Item I give Clara Alexander twenty pounds in money _ _ _ _

And the rest of my estate I leave to alicate at the discretion of my Executors and the money to be Equally divided among all my children Except Elizabeth Davenport to whom I gave one shilling it is not my will that the said Elizabeth Davenport or any of her heirs should have any other part of my estate but the one shilling mentioned to her I also Constitute and appoint my beloved sons John Alexander Abner Alexander and Jesse Alexander Executors

This my Last will and Testament and I hereby utterly Disalow revoke and disannul all and every other former Testament Wills Legacyes and bequests and Executors by me in any
