June Session 1764

On motion of John Pearson in behalf of Rodea Alexandr for the administration of the estate of Benjamin Alexander deceased and qualified administratrix by taking the oath appointed for admr. and enters Mickel Alexander & Benjamin Hassell securities in the sum of two hundred pounds starling money.

On motion of Rhodia Alexander for sale of the perishable part of the estate of Benjamin Alexander deceased ordered granted and to make returns to our next court.

Ordered that Michael Alexander be appointed guardian to Anne, Benjamin, Joshua, & Christian Alexander orphans of Benjamin Alexander deceased on giving security in the sum of two hundred pounds proclamation money which security is given by Joseph Alexander Esquire and Benjamin Hassell.

February Session 1775

On motion of Joseph Worth Esqr. ordered that Benjamin Alexander son of Benjamin Alexander be bound apprentice to Michael Alexander until he arrives at age to learn the trade of shoemaker he is now about eighteen.

Ordered that Joshua Alexander son of Benjamin Alexander be bound apprentice to Joseph Pledger to learn the trade planting business until he arrives at age he being now about seventeen years old.

Bond dated 6 Aug 1764 in the amount of two hundred pounds appointing Michael Alexander guardian to Ann, Benjamin, Joshua & Christian Alexander orphans of Benjamin Alexander deceased, Joseph Alexander & Benjamin Hassell securities.
