March Session 1757

The petition of Cristan Alexander praying for administration on the estate of her deceased husband Joshua Alexander granted accordingly. Joseph Alexander, Mikell Alexander & Joshua Alexander securitys in the sum of 500 pounds Proclamation.

Cristan Alexander exhibeted an inventory of Joshua Alexander her deease husbands estate and proved the same on her oath.

June Session 1757

The petition of Christain Alexander read praying a division of the estate of her late husband Joshua Alexander deceased & c. Granted and John Routon Joseph Alexander Esqrs. and Thomas Ludford or any two of them are appointed to devide the same and make their returne to next court.

September Session 1757

Jos. Alexander & John Routon Esqrs. returned the inventory and now the division of Joshua Alexander deceased ordered that the sd. division be filed.

Administrator's bond dated 3 Mar 1757 appointing Cristian Alexander administratrix of the estate of Joshua Alexandr deceased. Bond in the amount of 500 pounds with Joseph Alexander, Michell Alexander & Joshua Alexander securities.

Deed dated 1 Feb 1757 from Joshua Alexander son of Joshua Alexander deceased to Benjamin Alexander son of said Joshua Alexander deceased. Conveys 32 acres up Second Creek on the west side of Alligator River patented by the said deceased Joshua Alexander and lying near Jesse Hendle's land. Witnessed by Jos. Alexander & William Alexander.

Guardian bond dated 23 Mar 1764 appointing Michell Alexander guardian to John Alexander orpan of Joshua Alexander deceased. Bond in the amount of 100 pounds with Theophilus Mann & John Alexander securities and Fr. Ward & Thomas Mann witnesses.
