Tyrrell County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions


January Session 1787

Ordered that Thomas Everett Esqr. have leave of administration on the estate of James Adams who was deceased in the year 1776, and give bond in 500 pounds - Edmund Blount and William Harrison securities and qualifyed accordingly.

Also returns into court an inventory on oath of the estate of the said James Adams deceased ordered to be filed.

Ordered that Thomas Everitt administrator have leave to sell the perishable part of the said James Adams deceased estate and make return to next court.

April Session 1787

Ordered that Edmund Blount, Benjamin Blount and George Matthews divide the estate of James Adams deceased among the representatives of the said deceased and make return to next court.

January Session 1788

Edmund Blount Esqr. one of the dividers returns into court a division of the estate of James Adams deceased agreeable to an order of court between the widow & children of said deceased ordered filed.

Edmund Blount Esqr. Sheriff returns into court an account of sales of part of the estate of James Adams deceased amount of 10 pounds & 11 shillings ordered filed.
