Take #220 north to Ellerbe, take the business #220 to go to downtown Ellerbe, heading north turn left at the stoplight onto Page St. Continue on Page st. Ext away from Ellerbe until you see the church on the right in the trees. The cemetery is behind the church, and can be seen from the road. Sandra
Here are directions to the other Cemetery, which is close by. I don't think you have it listed. Mr. Ingram and Sherrill have called it Mt. Pleasant #1. There are rocks without inscriptions, so it could have been there before the church was built nearby. Go north from Rockingham on #220. Take the exit onto Business #220 and go into downtown Ellerbe. Turn left at the stoplight which is Page St. Drive on Page St. until just before the Mt. Pleasant church, where you turn right onto Grassy Island Rd. Turn right into the driveway of the Mt. Pleasant Community Center (it has a large sign), and continue past the Community Center until you see the gravestone of Herbert Lewis, Jr., and the metal tag on the grave of Guy Lewis. It is in a thinned out group of trees. Look to the other end of the trees, about 50 yards and you will see the rest of the three graves, and several rocks. One of the slate rocks has Nash Bosworth carved on it, no dates. I will get you the names of the other 2 gravestones. Sandra.
