Ken, If you know the names of the folks buried in these Mississippi Cemeteries who were Richmond County, NC natives, I would be delighted to post them here in Richmond County, North Carolina. Thanks for your help! It is my understanding that the families Covington, Lampley, Love, Hunter, Leak, Clark etc. all came to Kemper County around the same time to take advantage of the Choctaw land cessions. There are so many Mississippi families who came from NC we should probably start a North Carolina Society here in Mississippi. I have other relatives from Craven, Cumberland, Wayne and other NC counties as well.
