The Western Carolinian, published at Franklin, says that Capt. W. H. Thomas passed through that place some days ago, in command of 104 Cherokee warriors, for the seat of war in East Tennessee. As they passed through that town they made the welkin [the upper atmosphere] ring with the terrible Indian warhoop.
