To all. Ref the book 'Confederate POWs, soldiers and sailors who died in Federal prisons and military hospitals in the north', by US War Dept. 1912. On page 360 was the following item for Point Lookout, Maryland dead - "Laughlin, Seth Citizen, Randolph 8/2/1864 Confederate cemetery". I checked the 1860 census for a Seth Laughlin and found several in Randolph Co., NC and one other from up north. I took all your e-mail address from Ancestry.com to let you know about Seth (which one I'm not sure as one of them joined Co. F, 27th NC and died on 8 Dec 1864 in Richmond, Va). Hope this information will help.
