    STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA -- Pitt County -- Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions, 
    Aug. Term 1859 -- GEORGE TEEL ET AL Vs. ADAM FLEMING, Adm'r, et al. Petition 
    for settlement.
    It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that AMSEY FLAKE and LYDIA 
    HUELL, defendants in this case, are non- residents of the State, it is ordered 
    that publication be made in the North Carolina Standard for six successive 
    weeks for said defendants commanding them to appear at the next Term of this 
    Court, to be held at the Courthouse in Greenville, on the first Monday of Nov. 
    next, then and there to plead, answer or demur, or this notice will be taken 
    pro confesso as to them, and the prayer of the petitioners heard accordingly.
    Witness HENRY SHEPPARD, Clerk of our said Court at office in Greensville, the 
    first Monday of August A.D.  1859.
