    State of North Carolina, Pitt County
    Court  of  Pleas and Quarter Sessions, February Term, 1859. CHARLES GREEN Vs. 
    JAMES NELSON, original attachment. In this case, it appearing to the 
    satisfaction of the Court that said defendant, JAMES NELSON, is a non-resident 
    of the State or so absconds or conceals himself that the ordinary process of 
    law cannot be served on him it is ordered that publication be made for six 
    weeks successively for the said defendant to appear at the nest Court of Pleas 
    and Quarter Sessions to be held for the county, aforesaid at the Court House 
    in Greenville on the first Monday of May A.D. 1859, or this notice will be 
    taken pro confesso and heard accordingly.
    Witness H. SHEPPARD, Clerk of said Court, at office the first Monday of Feb.
