    STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA -- Pitt County -- Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions, 
    February Term 1860 -- BLOUNT NOBLES and B.G. ALBRITTON vs. CHARLES L. HERNDON 
    and wife, MARTHA J.-- Petition for division of lands.
    In this case it appearing to the satisfaction of the court that the defendants
    CHARLES L. HERNDON and wife, MARTHA J. are non-residents of this State. It is 
    ordered that publication be made in the North Carolina Standard for six 
    successive weeks, for said non-residents to appear at the next Term of Court, 
    to be held for the County of Pitt, at the Courthouse in Greenville, on the 
    first Monday next to plead, answer or demur, or this notice will be taken pro 
    confesso and said petition heard accordingly. Witness: H. SHEPPARD, Clerk of 
    our said Court at Office in Greensville, the first Monday of February, A. D. 
    1860.
