This Indenture made this 9th day of February 1811 between Thomas Norman Junr of the County of Granville & State of No Carolina of the one part & William Daniel of the County & State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the sd Thomas Jr for & in Consideration of the sum on one hundred Dollars to him in hand paid by the sd William Daniel before the sealing & Delivering of the presents the rect whereof he the sd Thomas Norman doth hereby acknowledge hath granted bargained & sold by these presents do bargain sell & grant unto the sd William Daniel his Heirs & assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land which I purchased of my Father formerly the land of Claborn DENNY Thomas Webb & others situate lying & being in the County of Person & state aforesaid Beginning at a white oak on Harris Corner thence south to a red oak on Daniels line thence west to & along Daniel & persons line to willow oak thence No to a black jack thence East to a black jack thence No to a pine thence East to a pine on Harris Corner thence South to a Pine Stump in Harris line to the Beginning containing one hundred acres more or less with all & singular its appurtenances the said Thomas Norman do bind himself his Heirs &c to warrant & forever defend the said sold premises against the claim or claims of any person or persons whatsoever unto the Sd W. Daniel his Heirs & assigns forever In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal the Day & date above written

Zachariah Denney To John Harris

Person County, NC, Deed Book C p. 265, May 14, 1799

 
This Indenture Made this fourteenth Day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety Nine Between Zachariah DENNY of the Granville County & state aforesaid of the other Part Witnesseth That the said Zachariah DENNY for and in consideration of one hundred Pounds Current Money of Virginia to him in hand paid by the said John Harris Senr the Recpt Whereof the said Zachariah DENNY Doth hereby acknowledge He Hath Given Granted Bargained & Sold and by these presents Doth Give Grant Bargain & Sell unto the said John Harris Senr his heirs & assigns forever a Certain tract or Parcel of land Situate lying and being in the County of Person & Granville & State of North Carolina on Aaronís Creek Beginning at a Pine on Harrisís Line Runing North to a Pine Thence East to a Hickory Thence south to a Post Ok on Danielís line thence West to the first Station Containing two Hundred acres be the same More or less together with the appurtenances Privileges and Advantages thereunto belonging to the said land & Premises to have and to hold the aforesaid two hundred acres with the appurtenances aforesaid unto the said John Harris Senr his heirs & assigns forever and the said Zachariah DENNY for him his heirs Doth Covenant & agree with the said John Harris Senr his heirs & assigns the said Zachariah DENNY his heirs the above mentioned two hundred acres & land with the appurtenances unto the said John Harris Senr his heirs against all Persons whatsoever will warrant & by these Presents forever Defend In Witness whereof the said Zachariah DENNY hath hereunto set his hand & affixed his Seal the Day & Year first above Written
