I, MARCUS CARAWAN of the aforesaid County and state, being of sound but, considering the uncertainty of my Eal1hly existence do declare this my last will and testament.
. . . . . First: My executor herin after named, shal1 give my body a decent burial suitable to the wishes of my friend and relatives, and pay all funeral expenses together with all my just debts out of the first monies, which come into the hands, which belong to this estate.
. . . . . 2nd. I have already give to my JENNIE who first married Clifford LUPTON the portion of land and also the bed that I allotted for her. I then gave her eighty dollars for her land.
. . . . . 3rd. I have already given to my son JOE CARAWAN the portion and also the bed I. Joe LEARY now owns that tract of land. This land adjoins on the west side of Oyster creek road.
. . . . . 4th: I have already give to my son ROBBY CARAWAN the portionof land apportioned to him also bed that was allotted to him. The land adjoins the Eastward side of Oyster creek road.
. . . . . 5th: I have already given to my son WALLACE CARAWAN the portion of land. And also the land that I allotted to him. This land was a slipe through my field. For this land and improvements I have give him $155.00.
. . . . . 6th: I have already give to my daughter JULIA who married Earls IRELAND the portion of land and also the bed that I allotted for her. This land adjoins the land of Elijah DANIELS, also adjoins Oyster Creek road.
. . . . . 7th: I give to my son DANIEL CARAWAN the portion of land where my houses stand; commencing or beginning at the main road at Joe LEARY's corner on the west side of his lands and running westly with the main road to the second ditch in my field, then with said ditch to the back of the field. And then same direction of said distance of said ditch to the back line. Including two slipes of land on the east side of my field from front line to back line. I have already given to my son DANIEL CARAWAN the bed I allotted to him.
. . . . . 8th: I give to my daughter GERTIE CARAWAN the piece of land next to my son DANIEL. Beginning at the main road at DANIEL'S CARAWAN line, running westly with said son's line to the next ditch, then with said ditch a northwardly course to the back line. This land adjoins the land I bought of my son WALLACE CARAWAN. I also give to my daughter GIRTIE one bed.
. . . . . 9th: I give to my son IRA CARAWAN the tract or piece of land adjoining GIRTIE CARAWAN land. Beginning at the main road on GIRTIE CARAWAN line thence westwardly with said road to a ditch at the turn in the road then with said ditch through the field. And on the same ditch to the back line. This land is to take one stipe through trh field and on to back line. This being the same land I bought from my son WALLACE CARAWAN.
. . . . . 10th: I give to my Daughters LIZZIE and EFFIE GYINN who married Harry GWINN a tract of land adjofning the piece of land I gave to my son IRA CARAWAN. Beginning at the main road on IRA CARAWAN line running westwardly with said road to the big ditch. Then running through the field and on to the back line, a parallel with IRA CARAWAN line. I also give to my daughter LIZZIE CARAWAN a bed and my organ and for the organ pay to my estate twenty five dollars. I also give to my daughter EFFIE GWYNN one bed.
. . . . . 11th: I give to my daughter SARAH EMORY who married Steven EMORY and MARY MERCER who married Benjamin MERCER and KITTIE SPAIN who married George SPAIN and DELIAH LEARY who married Joe LEARY the next piece of land. This land to begin at the main road on LIZZIE CARAWANS and EFFIE GWENN line and running westwardly with said road to my westward con1er west to line. Thence running with said line SPAIN to the remainder of my land I have not already given to my children.
. . . . . I have already given to my daughter SARAH EMORY the bed that I allotted for her.
. . . . . I have already given to my daughter MARY MERCER the bed that I have allotted for her.
. . . . . I have already given to my daughter KITTY SPAIN the bed I allotted for her.
. . . . . I also give to my daughter DELIAH LEARY one bed.
. . . . . I hereby constitute and appoint my trusty friends ROBBY CARAWAN, IRA CARAWAN, and LIZZY CARAWAN my lawful executors to all intents and purposes to execute.

Signed, Sealed, and published and declared by the said MARCUS CARAWAN to be his last will and testament in the presence of us. Who have granted and in his presence do subscribe our names as witness there unto.
