Ralph Emerson Mayo House

Located on Hwy 304 about one-half mile east of the Gene Potter Bridge in Hobucken, this two-story, frame, L-plan house, the westernmost section, was constructed about 1900 for Ralph Emerson Mayo (1897-1988), son of Wiley James Mayo and Mary Thomas  Lupton, and his wife, Ruth Whorton (1899-1998).  The easternmost section was constructed between 1910 and 1920 and the first floor was used for a store.
