Possible parents and siblings of your Thomas---- George Clancy d. 1823, Orange Co.,NC-- William Huntington adm. of his will, and he stated William Roach had left his interest in the estate of Thomas Cates to George Clancy, so that would be part of Clancy estate--- Huntington apparently quoted will of Thomas Cates then--- "my eleven children Moses Cates, John Cates, Fanny Sykes, Martha Moore, Minny Sykes, Milly Roach, Huldah Cates, Tabitha Smith, Elizabeth Cates, Thomas Cates and Ephraim Cates------ also gave wife of Thomas Sr as Sarah.---- other names given were John Sykes and Wm. Moore--- So Milly Roach m. to William Roach and he left his[her] share of estate to George Clancy--- All of this in Estate Records, Orange Co., State Archives NC
