The Thomas Person Berry home, built between 1831 - 1852; this picture taken in 1933.
The John Robert Berry home, built about 1865, no longer standing.  The property for all of the Berry homes was on state road 157 in Orange County near the Person County line.  The two pictures below are of the store that was owned by John Robert Berry.  It was built in about 1865 and is still standing; located across the road from his homesite.
This is the home of J. R. Berry's oldest son, W. P. Berry.  It is located about 300 yards from the location of his father's home.  The home was built about 1895, has been remodled and is still being used.  
The Closing Exercises of the Caldwell Institute, December 23, 1890.  The school stood on the corner of state road 57 and 157, in the community of Caldwell, about ten miles north of Hillsborough.  The building has been demolished.
The students of Meredith School in Orange County, about 1915.  Ben Henderson's uncle, Thomas Young Berry, and aunt, May Berry, who later became Mrs. B.S. Carr, are both in the photo.

Berry Family Reunion, July, 2007

118 cousins, from 14 states attended the reunion, held in Hillsborough, NC.
In the photo above, behind the group, is the chimney from the original homeplace, ca. 1766.
