Richlands—Richard Enoch Smith, 78, died Thursday Aug. 5, 2004, at home. A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, at the chapel of Community Funeral Home in Beulaville. Visitation will follow. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, at Brown Cemetery in Warsaw. Survivors include a wife, Marguerite Smith of Richlands; four daughters, Kathy S. Koonce of Richlands, Wanda Kaye Temple of Virginia, Sherry S. Whaley of Potters Hill and Helen E. Weis of Georgia; sister, Melba Jones of Albertson; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
