Will of William Dixson

North Carolina In the name of God amen this fourth day of April in the Year our Lord one Thousand seven hundred & Sisty five I William Dixson of New Hanover County, in the Provence aforesaid Being weak in body tho' of sound mind and memory do first revoke and make utter null and void all other wills by me before made and to satisfy and ordain this to be my last will and testament in maner & form following. Impremises My wills and meaning is that all my just and lawful debts be immediately paid after my decease.

Item: I give & bequeath to Brother Jonathan Dixson fifty acres of land whereon he now lives and all the improvements. Likewise two cows and calves, also one white mare and my wearing cloathes, one feather bed and furniture also my saddle an bridle and likewise all the money that is due to me------------

Item: I give and bequeath to my Brother Moses Dixson one cow and yearling, also one Black mare and Trumpeter likewise one bay horse. I give and bequeath to my Brother Aaron Dixson one cow & Yearllling also one Black stone house and my gun and accutremints for muster.

Lastly I nominate and appoint my Brother Johathan Dixson executor of this my last will and testament In witness where of I have here unto set my hand and seale this day and year first above written.
