I'm looking for 'proof' (a published list or information from a county or city record) 
that shows John London as Magistrate of Police of Wilmington.
There is a sentence from Opal London Cox's book "John London was the 
magistrate of police and issued a proclamation calling the people to defend 
Wilmington during the War of 1812."
 
So I'm looking for other 'proof' of that sentence!
