Letter from John R. Eaton to his sister Mrs. Lethe Smith

                                                July 13th 1807

Dear Sister,

                                    being informed yesterday, that

W. Smith was again to leave this country

for the West, and having business of moment

there - had come up tosee him too late.

Will you be so good as to visit

us!  We would be very happy inthe

company of you and the Children.

My affairs require my presents in the

Town of Petersburg now - therefore can't

stay till you come home, for which Iam truly

you are so -
