M. Sally Tannahill March16th 1866 Virginia Wright July 27th 1868, ½ past 4 o’clock p.m. Deaths: William Eaton Johnston died April the 25th 1809. Aged 52 yrs. 8 months Hugh Johnston died April the 23rd 1810 aged 47 yrs. 5 mon. Mrs. Sally Johnston died at her residence in Warrenton on the 31st day of January 1848 in the 75 year of her age. (74 yrs. 6 mos. 5 days) Died at his residence in Warren Co. after a short attack of Palsy: William Green Jones, on Saturday night August 2nd 1845. aged 54 yrs. & 2 mos. His funeral was preached by Higgins. Charles William Johnston departed this life on the 8 day of September 1826, at 8 o’clock in the morning of Billious fever in the 28 year of his age. Mary Greenway Johnston his eldest daughter departed this life on the 19th October 1826 of similar fever in the 4th ye. of her age. Sarah Eaton Davis his youngest sister departed this life on the 8 of January 1827 at 12 o’clock of Consamption in the 30th year. Mrs. Mary Eaton, departed this life in September 1851. She was 34 years of age, lacking 7 days. And the daughter of Mrs. Sarah E. Davis. Charles William Hugh Johnston son of Charles William Johnston died on the 11th of August 10 minutes after 1 o’clock in the morning of Billious fever and in the same way his father died. Aged 5 years 4 months & 2 days. In the year 1851 the last of the name. Mrs. Sarah G. Amis daughter of Mrs. Sarah E. Davis died in November 1851 of diarrhea in the 36 year of her age. Wm. E. J. Jones died 13th Sept. 1855 after a tedious attack of disease of the heart. Aged 32 years & 3 months. John W. Hayes died Nov. 3rd 1857 of chronic diarrhea Died Jan. 9th 20 minutes past 2 o’clock, Wednesday morning (1860?, she was born 17 Oct 1795) [probably the next person mentioned] Mrs. Mary Christmas Jones aged 65 years, 2 months & 9 days. Her illness was long & painful. She bore it with patient love, & died in peace & trust. Other Sunday, Dec. 30th a.m. 1883. Robert Christian, son of J. C. & Lizzie Pritchard, & Mary Prichard Fleming, third child of Bettie P. & Lewis R. Fleming were baptized by Rev. L. J. Holden, in my honor. (Sallie Pritchard & myself among the witnesses) |
