1. To request a lookup from any of the references, click on the name of the owner and ask them politely. Please provide the following: (1) the Title of the book you wish a lookup from; (2) the Name of the person you are seeking information on; and (3) a Time Frame for that person.  This will enable our volunteer to better serve you. Should the book prove useful, we can provide the authors address and ordering information.

2. Lookup requests should be limited to one name, or perhaps two if it is a married couple. Information given will be minimal, for example if it is a census lookup, the information will be for a specific name in a specific census year.

3. Please * Do Not * ask for "everybody with the Smith surname," for an entire family group, or for hardcopies to be mailed.

4. Please * Do Not * ask a Volunteer to do any research other than a lookup for which they have agreed to do; the volunteers have been asked not to comply with such requests.

If you own or have easy access to any kind of reference materials pertaining to Bath County genealogy or history, and you would be willing to do lookups on a voluntary basis, please contact an NCGenWeb Board Member Your efforts will certainly be appreciated.
