Granville Co. Book 7, p.172, will written
30 Dec 1810, proved May Court 1811
In the name of God Amen I Mary Eastwood of the County of
Granville State of North Carolina being a low state of helth
[sic] tho of a sund [sic] mind & memory doth make & ordain
this my last Will & testament in manner & form following Viz
First I will that my Land be sold and a Credit of twelve
Months to the highest bidder consisting of the hundred &
Nineteen Acres [laying?] on to the waters of the Knap of
Reeds Creek and the Money arising therefrom to be equally
divided between my following daughters---(Viz) Liday
Eastwood Rebecka Eastwood Elizabeth Eastwood Mary Eastwood
Cesey [Kesiah] Eastwood. I also Will that my horse be sold
on a Credit of twelve Months & the money to be equally
divided between the above named Children & my two sons,
Charles Eastwood and Abraham Eastwood.---
I do hereby appoint my sons Charles
Eastwood & Abraham Eastwood sole Executors to this my last
will & Testament & do [?] & [revoke?] all other Wills
heretofore made by me in Witness Whereof I have hereunto set
my hand & Seal this 30th of Decem. 1810

State of North Carolina Granville County May Court AD 1811
The Execution of the foregoing last Will
& Testament of Mary Eastwood Dec’d was duly proved in Open
Court by the Oath of Thomas Webb a subscribing witness
thereto and Ordered to be Recorded—Then came Charles
Eastwood named Executor in Said Will & qualified as such
agreeable to Law.
