No. 131. Hunsucker Family Cemetery

This cemetery is located about 100 yards off Highway #22 at the junction of Highway #1470 near High Falls Town Limits in the front yard of a Mr. Kennedy.
Mr. Kennedy when building his house covered all the grave stones with dirt  but he could remember that one of the stones was that of a Nelson Hunsucker  and one was that of a Fry. The writer was told that this graveyard had been known as the old Hunsucker burying ground for as long as anyone could  remember and that there was a large number of graves marked with field stones  and no inscriptions. It is the writers belief that this is the old William  and Elizabeth Hunsucker graveyard who in the census of 1850 was 46 years old  and listed a son, Nelson at the age of 17 years.
