A CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM

Pictured above is the 1969 Varsity Football team that has successfully carried the Maiden High School banners all the way to win the Southern District 7 Championship. The team remains undefeated, winning all ten games this season. They will meet Beaver Creek on Friday night November 14. Beaver Creek has won a total of thirty games without being defeated.

The Maiden Blue Devils are:

Second Row: Gary Burgess, Dwight Ramsuer, Mike Detter, Gary Beard, Charles Hilton, David Goodson, David Piercy, Joey Kanipe, Dickie Parlier, Tim Lowman, Mervin Miles.

Third Row: Garlin Rhinehart, Reggie Rogers, Jerry Sowell, Myron Wise, Roger Ramsuer, Marty Little, Alex Williams, Rick Warlick, Graylin Parker, Jay Bolick, Ronnie Bumgarner, Joey Barger - Manager.
