Mona Travis
Uncooked Tomato Relish


[ This keeps in the refrig. for a year, it is really good. You can add hot pepper to this also if you like it hot.
This recipe comes from my Aunt Mona Travis and is really good with those Pinto Beans or even on a Hot dog. ]

18 med. size tomato's peeled and chopped drain off all excess juice
2 stalks celery chopped
2 green peppers chopped
2 Red sweet peppers chopped
4 med. onions chopped
1 cup horseradish [Adjust to taste on this one]
1/3 c. salt
2 1/2 cps sugar
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 cups cider vinegar
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. cinn.
3 tablespoons whole mustard seeds
Hot peppers if you want to spice it up a bit.

Mix all together and put in quart jars.
Boil lids and put on jars and then refrigerate, better the longer it sits.
Keep in refrigator up to a year.
