LESTER LEE FISH
MAIDEN - Lester Lee Fish, 83, of East Maiden Road, died Feb. 24, 2001, at Abernethy Center in Newton.
Born Aug. 26, 1917, in Lincoln County, he was a son of the late James and Ida Caldwell Fish.
A member of Lawing Chapel Baptist Church, he retired from Ethan-Allen Corp. in Maiden.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Fish.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Loving Fish; two sons, Jerry Fish of Maiden and Harold Fish of Newton; six brothers, Clifford Fish, Howard Fish, Grady Fish, Horace Fish and Marion Fish of Maiden and Thurman Fish of Lincolnton; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted by Dr. Foyd Bennett a 2 p.m. Tuesday at his church.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will be at the church one hour prior to the service.
