Whisenant House

Located on North Main Avenue in Maiden, this bungalow style home was built around 1925.
It is a one-and-one-half-story frame house with a full-facade engaged porch, which is supported
by paired square columns. The gable end home has Purlin bracket accents at its eaves and a
molded lintel decorates the windows. The front entrance is flanked by sidelights and the front
dormer consists of three bungalow-style windows.
