MAIDEN — Flona Beal Shaw, 76, of Parker Road, died Nov. 26, 2002. 
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Lawings Chapel Baptist Church where she was a member. 
Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 7 until 8:30 at the church. 

Born in Catawba County, she was a seamstress assistant at Pembroke Furniture. 

Survivors include two sons, Dale Shaw of Lincolnton, and Jerry Shaw of Maiden; three daughters, Brenda Reynolds, 
Janice Drum, and Gail Beal, all of Maiden; two brothers, Marshall Beal, and Clifton “Pete” Beal, both of Maiden; three sisters, 
Carolyn Peeler, and Margie Self, both of Maiden, and Coleen Shytle of Denver; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
