I here enclose you a return of A. M. Burtons Taxables as he sent it to me without being sworn you may do with it as you think proper [signed] John D. King

A M Burton returns as his list of taxable property for the year 1832

1590 acres of land on the Cataba river value $10,000

1817 formerly the property of Jno Fulenwider value to me by the Commissioners at $1200

23 black poles including two negroes the property of my children Robert and Elizabeth for whom I am guardian: July 31^st 1832

The forgoing is a correct list of Taxables as returned to me in Capt Lowe’s Company in 1832 with the exception of errors if any [signed] John D King JP
