Lenoir County, NCGenWeb: Cauley (Flavius Cauley) Cemetery

Surveyed by Glenn Fields January 2009.

Location: On NC 55 Highway west of Kinston, turn left on S. Croom Bland Road which is just past Sandy Bottom. Continue approximately 1 mile. Cemetery is in the yard of a red roof house on the right just past a mobile home park on the left.

Close up of previous stone showing footstone remaining at headstone, indicating that  she may not have been buried  there. There is a stone in the
James J. Cauley Cemetery for George Lafayette Cauley listed  on the stone as husband of  Janie E Houston but he died in 1909. There is no indication that she was  buried beside him either.
