Welcome to the new site for Jones County, NCGenWeb. I am your new county coordinator, Taneya, having adopted the county from Diane Siniard back in July.
Some of the pages from the old site are still linked to, and there are some parts that have not been fully moved over to the new site. I do hope you’ll remain patient as I make these updates over the next several weeks.

I am a grandson oc Cyrus & Eula Griffin of Comfort. I am doing research on the Griffin Family and have gone back to a James Bryant Griffin born in 1832. Any information on this family would be appreciated.
